I wrote my first song at 71 years. The song has lived in my heart for more than 20, before I found the words to finish it Now I leave it here for the world to listen and enjoy.

"Where Have All My Blues Gone, They were Deep In My Heart"

20 years in the making, with only a hook and few lines, I carried these words on a scrap of paper in my wallet. I had thought that I might one day share it with one of my favorite local blues bands to see if they would help me finish the song and play it on stage.

Time passed and suddenly, I realized that AI could help me finish the lyrics. I asked ChatGPT and honestly most of the lines it wrote were crap. (Of course, I knew: AI has no soul".) It only knows how to set up the format and and create rhyme. But being an editor by profession, I could work from this. ChatGPT and I spent a couple days finding the lines that came straight from my heart. Then I found Suno.com. Suno is like having a full music studio with every kind of artist and instrument you could imagine. I spent 2 more days and about 70 takes trying to get the right sound."Where Have All My Blues Gone!" is my only recording , so far.
